Our Team

John and his twin brother, Steven, were born in Portland, Maine. John and Steven grew up in Westbrook, Maine where their father was Superintendent of Schools and their mother was a teacher. John’s degrees are in Education and Accounting and combines the two disciplines to help educate clients about investing, retirement planning and to provide a historical perspective on taxes and the markets. 

John and his wife, Becky, reside in Scarborough, Maine where they enjoy spending time with friends and family on the beach. Becky retired in 2024 after 33 years as a Chiropractor and the founder of Brown Chiropractic. 

John has two sons, Ben and Ryan. Ben and his wife, Whitney, live in Gray. Ben is the Operations Manager at Connolly Fulton Financial and is responsible for Compliance and Technology. Ryan lives in Westbrook and works for Hannaford. 

John has worked in accounting and investments since 1987 performing and supervising internal and external audits, personal and business tax returns and investment advisory services. John founded Connolly Financial Services in 2003, which became Connolly Fulton Financial Services in 2020. 

John enjoys his work and finds it very fulfilling. He feels fortunate to have worked with his sister-in-law, JoAnn (Steven’s wife), for 17 years, and currently works with his business partner, Tim, since 2008, his son, Ben, since 2008, his nephew, Christopher (John’s brother Michael’s son) since 2020, and his niece Caitlin (Steven and JoAnn’s daughter) since 2022. 

Tim began his career in the financial services field in 1998. He started at a Boston based mutual fund company and also spent time working for a major payroll/401(k) administration firm.

Tim has been married to his wife, Carrie, since 1995. They have two daughters, Rebecca and Eva, who are attending Oral Roberts University. Their family enjoys spending time outdoors in the summer and snowmobiling in the winters.

Tim attended Southern New Hampshire University and holds a degree in accounting.

Chris joined CFFS in January of 2020 as a paraplanner. He graduated from Elms College in 2018 obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree. In 2023 he earned his MBA with honors from Elms College holding a concentration in Finance. 

Chris grew up in Westbrook, ME and went through the Westbrook school systems graduating in 2014. Going through the school system Chris played varsity basketball 3 years. While attending Elms College he played on the Men’s NECC Basketball team for 3 years. During high school and college, Chris spent much of his free time volunteering for Junior Achievement for 8 years, teaching kids from local YMCAs and Boys and Girls clubs to play basketball, and how to become a successful student while balancing sports and school. He also spent a lot of time volunteering during fundraisers for organizations.

Chris is fond of playing basketball, old cars, fishing and spending time with his wife, family, and friends.

Ben has been the Operations Manager at CFFS since 2008. He keeps all of our technology up and running, stays on top of compliance matters, looks after our office building, and manages our annual client events.

Ben lives with his wife at their home in Gray. When he's not at work you can usually find him fishing from his canoe, working on a project in his garage, or up to camp in Washington County.

Caitlin joined Connolly Fulton Financial Services as the Office Administrator in August 2022. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Saint Joseph’s College of Maine in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. She then graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a Master of Education and a Certification in Literacy.  

Caitlin taught middle school math, social studies, and language arts at Memorial Middle School for 12 years before becoming the school’s Multi-Tiered Systems of Support Coordinator in her final 3 years there. 

Caitlin and her husband Joe have two sons, Jackson and Elliott, who attend school in Gorham. Their family enjoys boating on Sebago Lake with their black lab Sophie, attending the boys’ sporting events, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
